"France now tried to acquire new territory such as Guiana and Lorraine"

The article makes it sound like France annexed Lorraine to compensate for its defeat overseas in the Seven Years' War, when in fact, Louis XV had been the heir to Lorraine since the end of the War of the Polish Succession in the 1730s.
