The Title of the article

[edit]

Hello,

I believe the title of the article should be changed to the "Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, as it is officially referred to in English. You can view the logo I found on the Patriarchate's website showing the official name in English here: http://copticj.com/.

I agree with you that the Coptic Orthodox church in Jerusalem uses the name "Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem". However, they are not a Patriarchate since a Patriarchate is a church organization headed by a Patriarch. They are headed by an Archbishop, and are therefore an archdiocese. However, since this seems to be a common name they have adopted, I have added it as one of the names of the organization in the first line of the article. The article should however remain under its current name as it gives a clearer description of the subject. Dashaya (talk) 03:43, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
