[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
The position of 13 on the Spanish Singles Chart is incorrect. The reference refers to the digital chart which is different from the official chart which also includes streaming along with digital downloads. On the official chart, the song has yet to enter the Top 100.

"emulates a new thematic"?
[edit]@Cabocla: The sentence
- The track is a comeback to Lovato's pop rock roots, but also emulates a new thematic for the singer, with a more provocative theme.
is not reasonable English; it looks more like a dictionary translation.
- "Emulate" does not mean "display or demonstrate", but something more like "copy".
- "Return" would be better here than "comeback".
- "Thematic" is an adjective, only marginally related to a singer's style or subject matter.
I have changed it to
- With this track Lovato returns to her pop rock roots while breaking new ground for herself with its provocative subject matter and treatment of it.
I'm not familiar with the song, but this seems to be what you're trying to say and is consistent with the rest of the paragraph. Maybe someone else who's a fan of Lovato's can check the whole article over. --Thnidu (talk) 21:14, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Thnidu: Well, sorry then (?). English is not my first language, and there are similar words to "emulate" and "thematic" in my native language, and they mean what I wanted to express in the sentence (those false cognates always get me). "Comeback" was just my mistake, actually (maybe I got confused because the track is Lovato's comeback single, I don't know).
- Thanks for the change, it's better now and expresses exactly what I wanted.
Cabocla (talk) 15:44, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Cabocla: That's what I figured. I'm glad I captured the meaning you wanted. You're welcome! --Thnidu (talk) 16:12, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Commercial performance section
[edit]Why is there no "Commercial Performance" section which discusses the song's chart history and sales? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.107.136.44 (talk) 07:47, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

Rock version
[edit]Should the "rock version" of the song have its own section on the article? (This also counts for the pages of "Sorry Not Sorry", "Heart Attack", and "Confident") Since it did not receive much coverage and did not chart at all... It seems like just another remix that could easily be merged onto the Release or Remixes section. BePlus (talk) 22:15, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- Charts (or lack thereof) aren't as relevant as how much attention it got from the media. For what it's worth, there are pieces from Rolling Stone, Alternative Press, American Songwriter, The Line of Best Fit, Billboard, and more specifically focusing on the rock re-recording. While it's accurate to describe this and the other rock renditions as remixes of past singles, I'm hesitant to get rid of their separate sections. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 22:24, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- I agree. However, it is just one of the explanations that I have. It did not chart, was not officially sent to radio, did not have much promotion (exepting one live performance), etc. I do not think it has sufficient relevance to have its own separate section on the article. It can be merged to other like in Dreamlover (song), for example. The thing that makes me doubt is the existence of Revamped. BePlus (talk) 22:57, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- I do see what you mean with the rock remix not being a separate single, but what does the Revamped compilation have to do with whether a separate section is warranted? SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 00:15, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
- @SNUGGUMS, Because the "rock version" technically is a single from an album but I don't know... I was just looking for things that would lead me to understand why to oppose. BePlus (talk) 00:35, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
