[edit]I am told that any criticisms of the constitution or its effectiveness do not belong here. This is ridiculous, it is far more important than what the document actually says. For instance see this along with other info on the US constitution page

Or check any of the various French constitutions from the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen onward and their wiki pages. You dictatorial apologists never fail to astonish me. Check out the government of Kazakhstan page. You could show it to a child and what they would get from it is that Kazakhstan is a representative democracy with a strong balance of powers.
