Georgia (U.S. state) Constitution → Constitution of Georgia (U.S. state) — The article needs a clearer name with the "(U.S. state)" part moved to the end. --Green Giant (talk) 22:07, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- Support - the current title is incredibly unwieldy. As far as I can tell, the "official" name is "Constitution of the State of Georgia" but that's ambiguous per the whole Georgia (country) / Georgia (state) / Georgia (U.S. state) debate. So one possible name might be Constitution of the State of Georgia (U.S. state), but that is about as unwieldy as the incumbent title. So, in short, I think the nominator's suggestion of Constitution of Georgia (U.S. state) is the best. — Amakuru (talk) 13:42, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- Weak support. Every option here is bad, as is usual with this particular naming conflict. However, I think the proposed title is less bad than the present one. — Gavia immer (talk) 04:27, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- Comment - I don't see the problem with "Constitution of the State of Georgia". No one actually calls the country of Georgia "the State of Georgia", so I don't see that as a genuine issue here. - BilCat (talk) 04:44, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

removed Sergeant Rod Wave
[edit]I just undid this vandalism edit. That was here fot 8 months or so. Is anyone watching this article? (And I assume I am not supposed to know who Sergeant Wave is...) Wefa (talk) 15:12, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for spotting and removing that. Sometimes the vandalism slips by, and takes a while to get reverted. I've spotted vandalism in some articles that had been there for 10 years or more, so it can happen. We're all volunteers here, and we can't spend all our time reviewing every edit in our watchlists or on recent changes. BilCat (talk) 21:47, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
