About Engineering Associations

[edit]

Are there any open enough engineering associations? Puppet reel (talk) 04:32, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Subfield?

[edit]

Is this a subfield of a general electronic control systems? Is the same or part of an electronic system design? Any ideas or sources? >AXONOV (talk) 09:27, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I've seen it used. A more stereotypical Computer Engineering role would be a processor designer. Either Computer or Electrical engineers might find themselves working control systems. Bakkster Man (talk) 16:05, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Re: "Skills needed" section

Newbie editor here writing in regard to the "skills needed" section — I've cross-referenced other Wikipedia articles and haven't seen anything similar to it (not inherently a good reason), but after rewriting it it seems somewhat[?] redundant in my opinion.

Looking to learn, thanks. Smeegent (talk) 15:24, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Smeegent I agree this doesn't make much sense. The source cited also seems questionable. Jantokiilo (talk) 01:19, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
