Name problem
[edit]Not sure what to name the article. It should be English, but the name doesn't translate well. The Council of Europe translates the name as "Party of Communists who have not been members of the Romanian Communist Party, “the PCN”)" [1]. Moved to "Communist party (Romania)", but that's not the ideal solution. --John Nagle 05:45, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- I moved it back. "Communist party (Romania)" can be confused with the "Romanian Communist Party"... bogdan 08:48, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- In my cited source, the European Court of Human Rights calls them, in English, "Communist Party (Nepecerişti)". They do use a phrase similar or identical to the one you give as an explanation, but not as their routine way of dealing with the party. What is your ciation for the Council of Europe calling them by this unwieldy name? - Jmabel | Talk 05:00, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Nepeceristi means "non-PCR members". This is used to distinguish from people who were active members of the old PCR ( Romanian communist party ) active until dec 1989. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.136.1.39 (talk) 10:44, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- Probably best to keep the article at "Communist Party (Nepeceriști)", Nepeceriști is a word that needs some context to be explained. --Soman (talk) 12:43, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

Comeback of the party
[edit]The party came back under a new name, Communists' Party, and even participated in the last parliamentary elections. In ro wiki, they decided to keep the same page for the old and new party. Should we do the same here? Erwan789 (talk) 00:28, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
- This article should be moved to Party of Communists (Romania). Yue🌙 06:24, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
