Can we get a reference for the source of the claim that the turks demolished the column to show for their victory? It might as well be an earthquake which destroyed it, or the turks could have destroyed it because it was old and in the verge of collapse.74.68.112.75 (talk) 05:28, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
