Discrepancy
[edit]The history of the team in this article doesn't jibe with the Jersey City Giants article. Sylvain1972 13:32, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't. That section seems to actualy be the history of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. I have deleted all references (as well as the various conflicting dates). SixFourThree (talk) 17:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)SixFourThree
"1931 unifical" (sic) founding?
[edit]The Clippers make no claim to anything other than a 1977 formation.[www.clippersbaseball.com/clippers/about] As noted above, this article used to incorporate some of the Jersey Giants history, but that was a different team. Please don't put this back again. SixFourThree (talk) 17:14, 11 April 2008 (UTC)SixFourThree
Old logo
[edit]Now that the new logo has been added, I'm going to put the old one back (with proper notation, and edited rationale) in case anybody has an interest in creating a gallery of historical logos for them as with other teams. I don't want the image to die from neglect, but if the consensus is to delete the old logo, so be it. SixFourThree (talk) 13:51, 6 April 2009 (UTC)SixFourThree
History Issue
[edit]I think the Clippers were established as an expansion team. See Talk:International_League#Team_history_issues-_Scranton_Wilkes-Barrie_and_Columbus_franchises. Helix3255 (talk) 23:05, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
