merge Colt Detective Special page with Colt Cobra page
[edit]such makes sense as the only difference is the material of the frame (alloy for the Cobra...steel for the DS) The frame design (D-Frame) and the internal parts are identical except for the frame material.William Loeb William Loeb (talk) 14:47, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
No need to merge, the articles can easily stand on their own. There is more than enough material available on the various aluminum-frame model D frames to support a separate article for the Colt Cobra, particularly in view of USAF military examples (the Aircrewman). After all, Smith & Wesson has separate articles for the Model 10 and the Model 12.Dellant (talk) 16:02, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
I see no need to merge the articles, but I think a reference (in each) to the other would be helpful.108.1.212.235 (talk) 13:57, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Ray Smith
Accuracy and performance?
[edit]Surely WP:RS address the accuracy and performance of these weapons? Geo Swan (talk) 17:27, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

In popular culture
[edit]Are these guns famous? They look like the sort of thing you see in detective TV programmes and films, and this type of gun is mentioned in the Ian Fleming novel Live and Let Die. It would be nice to see something in this article about its relevance to ordinary people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.159.240.17 (talk) 19:43, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
