Please explain the "shuttered" process.
[edit]That makes it sound to me like they shut down then (just the year 2012 was specified) but I have been buying Colombo bread until this year (2016). It has been impossible to find lately but I can't imagine it lasting for 4 years if that is when it was last made. If it really is no longer being made, that is sad. It was very good bread. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ncgeier52 (talk • contribs) 05:53, 6 June 2016 (UTC) Update: I went in the grocery store today (something I rarely do anymore) and Colombo bread was there on the shelves like always. It has just become harder to find online shopping. So what I learned is after Hostess shut down the bakeries in Oakland and here in Sacramento the baking of the bread and the Colombo name must have been taken over by Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. I looked at that page here on Wikipedia and there was no mention of it so I went to the BBU website and there also there is no mention of it. Their "search for product" feature does not let you type something in either. You have to choose from a pull-down menu and Colombo is not on the list, so their website is not any more up to date than Wikipedia is about their products. I know some of the people who might read this are from Missouri so I am including a photo of the package.
