[edit]Reading this article, it does not sound neutral on the subject.
- Interestingly enough, as I read it 6 months later, it sounds like an oil company PR official has been the main editor. Removed considerable blatant POV and requested several citations. --Skyemoor 13:43, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Copyright Violation, Spam
[edit]The link on this site, dieoff.org, leads to copyrighted material--a 1998 Scientific American article in its entirety. WP:COPYLINK.
Further, it has come to my attention that a link to dieoff.org occurs on roughly 90 different articles. While I believe this is the result of someone's enthusiasm for providing links to material, (1) the site has the appearance of being a personal website (2) 90 different occurrences is enough to create suspicion of spam, per WP:SPAM and the WP policy on external links.
I intend to delete this link, as well as other occurrences of illegal links to copyright material, and spam.Geogene (talk) 02:23, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- You seem to have a vendetta against Dieoff... and what's even worse you have now thrown out babies with bathwater at least 3 times in the past two days. I hate following people around to clean up after them, so I'd appreciate it if you quit doing that. NJGW (talk) 21:09, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think Dieoff qualifies as a sound reference, for reasons given above. Please refute my concerns...or stop obstructing my edits. Geogene (talk) 21:33, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- What the deuce are you talking about? Pay closer attention to what's going on around you. And turn the assault rifle off from full-auto... your collateral damage is annoying. NJGW (talk) 21:35, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I approve the of new (legal) SciAm cite. Very good. Geogene (talk) 21:36, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Background
[edit]- Why does the background section contain a series of facts completely unrelated to the man Colin Campbell himself? bwmcmaste (talk) 02:10, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Little said
[edit]Very little is said about Campbell's actual background. Birth in Germany and origins of money for an expensive education are not mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.174.228 (talk) 13:48, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
