Season 4 info

Season 4 isn't starting until June 4th, May 18th is only the preview.

This is just for reference material. It's a translation of the text here which can't be translated normally. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:19, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

X.A.N.A. continues to grow and to develop progressively springtides of this palpitating series. After having destroyed Lyoko, the virus sets up a new machination for prende the total and final control of the world network through the numerical sea...

At the beginning the troiséme season, X.A.N.A. was released from Lyoko and begins conquest of the virtual wide world. To prevent that Jeremy, Ulrich, Yumi, Odd and Aelita do not continue to be interfered his business, the virus undertook to cut grass under the foot to them: if it manages to destroy Lyoko, our heroes will not have any more means of access to the fifth territory. Consequently, they will not be able any more to track it in the virtual esapce and will lose at the same time any hope to discover the secrecies which it still contains...

During the troiséme season, X.A.N.A. thus undertook to destroy the various territories of Lyoko, the ones after the others. In spite of a baited resistance, our heroes cannot make failure with the viruses, which are now surrounded of monsters virutels at the same time more powerful, but especially definitely better organized than at the time of their first adventures. Once that all these footbridges were destroyed, X.A.N.A. launches a final attack on a secret room of the c?ur of Lyoko, which contains all the essential data of the virtual universe... Taken of short, the majority of our heroes remain inalienable at the time of the attack and, in spite of a baited resistance, Lyoko seems definitively destroyed...

During last episodes, William was finally integrated into the team to become in his turn one of the defenders of Lyoko. On the virtual world, it is armed with an enormous sword which cutting easily the armor of the monsters of X.A.N.A.. Unfortunately, it still misses experiment and when it is only found with Aelita to resist the final attack of the virus malefic, he makes any only at his head and finds separate of his single chance of ragagner the material world. Thus it desparaît for the moment and no one does not know exactly what it arrived to him...

The fourth season, that all the fans of Lyoko Code wait already impatiently, announces rich unexpected bounces. Initially, Jeremy and Aelita manage to reprogram the fifth territory, which allows to our heroes reprende the tracking of the malicious virus. This time they must explore the numerical sea to find there of Réplikas, kinds of virtual islands which are finally nothing other but counterparts of Lyoko. Fortunately, always thanks to the little genius of the band, they do not leave the empty hands since they are equipped with new costumes, weapons and vehicles which enable them to make equal play with X.A.N.A..

The true difficulty which arises to â our heroes, it is that behind each Réplika a new supercomputer controlled by X.A.N.A. hides. To come to end from their adversary good once for all, our heroes must thus destroyed all these computers. For that, Jeremy developed a new process of virtualization/materilisation, the Translation which allows Ulrich, Odd, Yumi and Aelita to pass in the real world starting from Réplikas, while remaining in their virtual form. Obviously, X.A.N.A. awaits firm foot there!

Does this mean that due to the new process they can take their virtual forms in the real world? Djf2014 14:32, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes. They can. Angie Y. 22:39, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

In season 4 the gang will have new LYOKO outfits and fire power to defeat X.A.N.A, But William also returns and he is under X.A.N.A's control. The gang needs to defeat X.A.N.A and his new "weapon", Willaim, before X.A.N.A has complete control of the virtual universe! Outside of fighting X.A.N.A. there are new romantic twists. The gang will go through big changes inside and outside of LYOKO.

Code Lyoko or Lyoko Code?

In my opinion, we should change the title into Lyoko Code. It's a normal styling. For example, you often say "Morse Code", "Julius Caesar Code", "The Da Vinci Code",... Is it right?58.187.104.196 18:52, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

This is a TV show, not an encoding scheme. Look at the image in the box. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 19:23, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Hey, It shoud be called Code Lyoko. Lyoko is not a code, it's just a name of a land. Sometimes the title is called Code: Lyoko as Lyoko is the code for deactivating the tower. Forte Blues (talk) 03:06, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Characters' ages in XANA Awakens

How old were the characters in Xana Awakens? Angie Y. 22:40, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Same as they are now. Maybe a year less. They never address it. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 00:43, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Or maybe two years less, according to Odd's article. Angie Y. 10:53, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
We know they have met Aelita one year sooner in one first Season episode, don't remember which. Barraki 15:47, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Where on Odd's article does it say that it was two years less? I looked and I couldn't find it. -- Aelita@Lyoko (talk) 00:11, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Everyone, Milly said she was in Grade seven so Odd, Ulrich and Jeremie should be in Grade 8 which makes them 13-14 years old. Yumi is in grade 9 so she is 14-15 years old. Forte Blues (talk) 03:08, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

New Category?

Would Lyoko qualify as a "Fictional computer game"? (Category:Fictional_computer_and_video_games) --Snicker|¥°| 15:12, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

It's not technically a game, so no. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 20:11, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
But you can start this category with Avalon. Barraki 22:12, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

BIG news and I mean BIG!

Firstly, and incredibly, Code: Lyoko is going to be aired in Japan!

The reason why this is incredible is because in Japan, out of all the animation that's aired on TV, only 3% of the total is foreign.

For Code: Lyoko to recieve valuable airtime on Japanese networks is tantamount to it's quality.

Also, Moonscoop is branching out - it's purchased a multimedia company called 'Queen Bee' and in 2007 comes the most extraordinary development of all...

MOONSCOOP WILL HAVE IT'S OWN CABLE CHANNEL!

No word of a lie - this new channel (called Kabillion) will broadcast in France AND the USA this year.

And this is all due to the runaway success of our favourite show.

From Antefilms, to this. In three years. That's...just...WOW!

Angie Y. 22:10, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

I hate to dampen the excitement (and if this is really true, this is AWESOME), but can you source this? --TorriTorri(Talk to me!) 02:03, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

My good friend Rhys Davies said so on Lyoko Freak. Angie Y. 04:19, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, Angie, he did, but that is not a completely reliable source, however there is a notice on the Moonscoop website that announces the new station. I will get the article posted on this talk page tomorrow. --Lyoko is Cool 05:01, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Season 4 video preview

Hey, I am too lazy to log in. The thing is that I have found this cool preview of the fourth season [1], and as I don´t know how to put it in the article, can anyone put it for me?

Nothing new, we already have a link (maybe with texts in French, but same pictures). Barraki 20:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Criticism About Some Shots

In this show, even though I do like it, but it has some the most foot shots ever. For example, in the episode Deja Vu, we finally see Aelita's foot shot. I just want to know, why do they do that? In the words of [[Yoko Ono], WHY?? WHY??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.110.197.20 (talk) 22:33, 28 January 2007 (UTC).

What I don't get is why they are still using the virtualization shots from Garage Kids. IMHO, the characters have a slight appearance change from Garage Kids to Code Lyoko (don't ask me how, it's a detail thing that I can't figure out how to explain) so they deserve new scanner shots. If they are still using those same shots for Season 4, I don't know what I'll do. -- Aelita@Lyoko (talk) 15:34, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Time Travel

If the Supercomputer gained a Qubit after every RTTP, it would have well over 2,500 Qubits an EXTREMELY unlikely situation, especially considering the processing power it takes. --Lyoko is Cool 05:23, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Like I said in my edit summary, it does not matter if the science is flawed. It is not our job to correct it, and pointing out the flaws in it, while certainly mildly interesting, is original research. If it makes you feel any better, assume that they simply can't access the bulk of it. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:26, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

I think that the article could recieve at least a B on the quality scale if not a GA. Therefore, unless anyone objects, tomorrow I will submit it for assessment. --Lyoko is Cool 15:14, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Nomination Process Complete. --Lyoko is Cool 15:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Failed GA

This article has failed the GA noms due to lack of references. It also lacks a criticisms and receptions sections detailing the show from and out-of-universe perspective. If you feel that this review was in error feel free to take it to WP:GA/R. Tarret 01:07, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Article assessment

As requested here I've assessed the article. I have rated this article as start class because the relatively short length and lack of important sections like critical response, production etc. and as low importance because there is little to distinguish it from other articles about television series.

As per the failed GA nom this article needs more references and is missing important sections like critical response and cultural impact. The characters section should include brief mention of the starring cast. There is also little information on production of the show (apart from the reused scenes section).--Opark 77 10:13, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Translation

I really think this should have it's own section. Also, as far as I'm aware, the show has started airing in USA, so we should be able to get new information about the fourth season now. The Watchtower 13:02, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I just read my messages and I came to give a sincere apology. On my account apperently someone completly messed up the code lyoko page. I am still not aware of what, but came to ask for your apology.

2.) Well if its not me obviously someone got into my account, is there someplace where I can change my pass? Masterbeef66 06:33, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Aelita

A part of the article states "aelita mostly relies on the protection of others". However, in Season 3 and 4, the more current ones, this is not true. When I changed it Someguy changed it back.

What do you think we should have it say? Codelyoko193 Talk 23:14, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

No one knows. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 00:52, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
It was an accident. I heard they aired a specific episode as a new one twice (Hot Shower, I believe). Hot Shower was shown instead of 'Experience'. At least, that's what I heard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Billybobpeter15 (talkcontribs) 20:10, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
I know why. Two things: 1) It has aired in France already. 2) The reason it hasnt aired in the US is due to language issues. They havent found a proper means to replace what Odd had said during lunchtime. You can view the episodes subbed here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Code+Lyoko+78 Jeydo 04:49, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
For the last freaking time, that is not the reason. "Bullshit" was never said in the episode. That's just some subber's dumbass replacement word. Get that idea out of your head. I'm seriously tired of explaining why that is wrong. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:00, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Right or wrong, you could have saved yourself if you quoted something or had a link where this was discussed to avoid explaining it. just curious, which/how many languages do you speak? I merely said language was prob the case, I said nothing about BS. I dont agree with subbed translations my friend. Though I would appreciate and like to see more French/English subbers though. can we agree on that? Jeydo 14:28, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Of course, but bullshit or any other word not withstanding, language isn't the reason it was missed. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 20:22, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm going to go with the theory that it was a broadcast screwup. Just look at the air-dates of the adjacent episodes. The bigger question is how long before the broadcast schedule recycles back to the earlier episodes so we can actually see it. Sweetfreek 02:25, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

X.A.N.A.

Me again. I wanna clear something up. X.A.N.A. IS NOT A COMPUTER VIRUS! It is an evil computer program as told in Episode 1 (Jeremy says it). Although the Official Code Lyoko Website and many fansites say it's a virus, it isn't. IT just isn't Thank you for your time. I'm leaving now. Won't see me again for a while. If you really wanna talk to me go to Runescape and do it. I'm dylanb4465. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.218.13.130 (talk) 01:05, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

"the Official Code Lyoko Website." Then it must be a virus @.@ also Jeremy says it? Jeremy has yet to learn everything yet so it could just what he thinks. Also on another point, isn't well...An evil computer program is in my opinion a virus non the less. Doh I still believe it to be more of a monster since it is able to take over a human and it can think. Viruses can't think(yes I know its just a show)they have a specific target and does the thing it always does it won't think of different ways.

It will not change! It will always attack that way because thats what the virus is made to do and thats how it is programed to do it. Unlike X.A.N.A who YES has a specific target thinks of some creative ways to get rid of them.

but I digress...The official site says its a virus lets leave it as is. Masterbeef66 19:33, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Actually, the show itself is quite clear on what XANA is. An AI made by Franz Hopper that for whatever reason went rogue. I think calling him a virus is sort of like an insult, analogous to calling Jeremie "numbskull". That might be why it comes up. --The Watchtower 05:04, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Franz Hopper created XANA and Lyoko to destroy Project Carthage which would make them viruses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.162.149.172 (talk) 07:47, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

XANA is sort of both. It is technically a virus, but it is also referred to as an A.I. in the English dialogue. So, essentially XANA is an Artificially Intelligent virus. Pressondude (talk) 20:58, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Pressondude

In first place, XANA is not an abrevation and thus it's not spelled XANA. Second, XANA is a program developed by Franz Hopper, This fact is claimed several times during the show, XANA awakens part 2, Franz Hopper, Fight to the Finish, etc. Jeremy and Aelita says talk about XANA as a kind of virus but not as a virus at all or and AI.

Age

If Yumi's birthday was in episode 78, and if they have been fighting Xana for 2 years, and if they were all about 12 when the series started...Ulrich's, Odd's, Jeremie's, and Aelita's ages should be 14, and Yumi's age 15, right? Billybobpter15

I thought because of the party for Aelita is the first season they would be younger. Or at least Aelita because people don't age in Lyoko. Aelita at Kadic —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 16:00, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

They're not 12 when they started fighting XANA because in XANA Awakens, Jeremy's computer diary stated that he was in 8th grade when he discovered the supercomputer. Unless they have a different age-grade plan in France, they would be 16 and 17. - LyokoWarrior5139 —Preceding undated comment added 19:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC).

Episode Count

According to this article, there are 97 episodes in total for Code Lyoko. So why does it apparently end at 95? Either that number is incorrect, or somebody needs to mention that there are two more episodes to be aired... 172.159.169.16 01:24, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

There were two prequel episodes, these episodes didn't count or didn't make part of the chronology in the list so the episode Teddygozilla is the number one and Echoes is the number 95, this 95 episodes plus the two prequel ones is 97.

Um, this is supposed to be the English (as in the language) Wikipedia, not <insert region here> Wikipedia... So the question is should we add air dates of other region(s), or should we only keep the initial air date (in this cace, the original run in France)? --Kakurady (talk) 00:19, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

5th Season?

From the webpage that has been cited in stating that there will be a 5th season:

"Everyone is wondering.... ... if there will be a continuation to your favorite series. There are lots of rumors, so we will update you here:

* At the moment unfortunately, there is no season 5, but more a project for three 70 min animated movies. There are discussions but nothing is final yet." (Bolding mine)

So right now, there is no fifth season. To say that a show is "in hiatus" is to suggest that there are definite plans to bring it back, usually after a reworking. Discussions are not definite plans. Harry the Dog (talk) 11:21, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

What i'm saying is WHENEVER the CL site says "Exclusive NEW MOVIE coming to Kabillion in (Insert Time here.)!!!" When the counter reaches zero, Kabillion HAS NOTHING NEW! It's all just a hoax...SLJCOAAATR 1 (talk) 20:58, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
We're not talking about Kabillion's movies, which are different from the three movies that the site advertises. Again, read the page correctly. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 21:00, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
ARGH! Okay...Keep it cool Scotty...Kabillions movies ARE the three movies!SLJCOAAATR 1 (talk) 22:34, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
No, they are not, which you would understand if you bothered to read the news page. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:38, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
I do read it. But whenever the counter comes on, they say it's a movie, leading MANY people to believe that these 2 were the movies, and it was a hoax. Who knows which of us is correct. I might be, you might be. Only time will tell...SLJCOAAATR 1 (talk) 00:39, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Listen carefully, because I'm getting tired of repeating myself. The three movies are separate from the Kabillion ads. They are not related, as in not affiliated in any way, as in you're completely missing the point. The three movies have nothing to do with Kabillion. Realize this and stop wasting time with your ill-informed claims about a non-existant hoax. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 01:37, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Well perhaps the CL site needs to clear this up, and stop acting like the Kabillion eps. are the movies? Alot of people like me were confused by the way they acted...SLJCOAAATR 1 (talk) 03:42, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Edit warring again

I have had to protect the page again because Karaku and Rogue Penguin have been edit warring again. The two of you, your comments in your edit summaries are unacceptable. I will not unprotect the page until a compromise has been made. In the meanwhile, I would like the two of you to present your sides of this case, and I will ask for a third opinion in this matter. What the two of you have done is unacceptable, you two could have been 3RR blocked for such a war. bibliomaniac15 04:00, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I asked for unprotection because I figured two weeks would be enough for him to at least see reason. I see that went horribly awry. As has already been explained on his talk page, the additions are original research. He's misquoting the original source to support his own position, and has said he doesn't feel discussion will matter. It's rather frustrating. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:02, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Edit protection is currently counterproductive. I'm thinking that an RFC might be called for. bibliomaniac15 Midway upon life's journey... 23:15, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Third opinion

Aside from both users' persistent violations of the civility policy in edit summaries and talk page posts, which WP:3O isn't designed to address (other projects such as user conduct Rfc, wikiquette alerts, and AN/I are), what is the issue being disputed? Is it only the question of whether there will be a fifth season?

Whatever the issues are, Wikipedia requires reliable sources. If two sources which are both reliable differ on a matter which is notable enough to include in an encyclopedia article, they may both be cited with neutral phrasing which simply states that.

Hope this helps. — Athaenara 17:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I added a vehicles section that somebody promptly took down, though I managed to save it. Do you think it should be put on the Code Lyoko article page, since they are used a lot in the show. At least the Skidbladnir.

Most of those are listed with the characters who use them. Listing it here is clutter. The Skid is mentioned with Lyoko. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 21:46, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

1)TV Guides do not show international broadcast of a show 2)THE SHOW IS NOT OVER. Not in France. Not in the USA. Not in Australia. Not in Israel. Not in Belgium. MataNui44 (talk) 03:43, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, the show is over in France, and it does not matter if it finished airing anywhere else other than the main English-speaking broadcaster, which is already noted. Your mention of TV guides completely misses the point. Wikipedia isn't an index for every channel. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 03:47, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

No, it is NOT over in France. I'm sorry, but you seem to know very little about this show, which leads me to question why you patrol this article constantly. The international info is quite relevant, and many people would be interested in it. You are being rude and stubborn in this matter. MataNui44 (talk) 03:57, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it is over in France. Reruns do not count. The series is done. No more new episodes, no movies, nothing. That is what the date fields are for. Nothing else. Wikipedia is not a directory for every channel that airs the show, and so your list will not be included. This is not an argument you can win, because I do know this show and, more importantly, can read the links the other user helpfully provided for you. In short, I am not being rude or stubborn, it is in fact you. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:02, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it IS you, as you refuse to be incorrect, which you are now. Get over it. The show is not over. Where's YOUR source that the show IS over? Hmm? MataNui44 (talk) 04:06, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

The links at the bottom of the page, and the links in the infobox, list every episode. There are no more new ones, and if you think there are, it's your job to prove it. Also, Moonscoop lists it as a 97-episode show, so you've just been shot down. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:11, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

And the bullets missed and hit you right back in the ass. This shows that the series is not over, and it also confirms most, if not all, of the international channels. You have lost. MataNui44 (talk) 04:15, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Uh, no, in fact you've shot yourself in the foot and don't even realize it. Read page 5, I shall quote for retention: "97 x 26' episodes (4 seasons and 1 x 52' special)". If you do not understand the terminology, I shall enlighten. The apostrophe is short for minutes, so 97 x 26' means 97 episodes at 26 minutes each. Short version: the show is over, and the document you link to is a promotional kit designed to sell the license to other networks so the reruns will continue to run. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:21, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Them saying 97 episodes have been produced and aired does not mean the show is over. Upcoming movies, and what seems to be some sort of media called 'Code Lyoko Reloaded' show that it is NOT over. You likely saw the 97 episode thing and halted going further because you don't want to be incorrect. Give it up. It is not over. Sorry, you are incorrect on this matter. MataNui44 (talk) 04:24, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I went through the entire thing. There are no upcoming episodes. They'd have mentioned it. Code Lyoko Reloaded is just a revamped marketing campaign into side materials and merchandise: games, apparel, books, and so forth. That's on page 23, so you know. There is a mention of a live-action version in discussion at the end, but that's in discussion and nothing has come of it, so the show is over barring an official announcement of it being in production. Page 28 by the way. You don't know what you're talking about, and this discussion isn't going to get anywhere if you're not going to read your own sources. The show is over. This fact is absolute and supported by the very source you provide. The live-action show would be an entirely different show if it ever materializes. Until you can provide a source that says new episodes are airing or will air in the immediate future, this discussion is over. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:33, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, but what about that flash at the end of Echoes, what was up with that? --76.95.66.209 (talk) 19:16, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Nothing important, just a flash. It never hurts to leave a tiny sequel hook in, just in case, but from an outside standpoint it matters not. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 19:43, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
How can you be so sure that there will not be a sequel?--76.95.66.209 (talk) 19:52, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I can't, but Wikipedia doesn't deal in "maybe there will, maybe there won't." For now, there's nothing, and until there's an announcement to the contrary that's all that matters. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C)
But haven't they released plans for three movies and one special?--76.95.66.209 (talk) 21:04, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Those have fallen into development hell, and the same criteria apply to them as to any sequel. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 21:22, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
"Criteria apply to them as to any sequel", meaning??? --76.95.66.209 (talk) 22:21, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Meaning more than a passing mention of which nothing has come, such as production photos, official announcements by the actual company, etc. That has yet to happen. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:57, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
This would be what then? [5], because I'd say this is a little more than a "passing mention". --76.95.66.209 (talk) 23:08, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Didn't you read above? Code Lyoko Reloaded is a marketing campaign, not a new season or a new series. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 23:14, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
You don't have to talk like that to me. First of all, yes I did. I would believe you, but you don't have any evidence besides that of subjective theories, *voice of Keith Olbermann's impression of Rush Limbaugh* "and you know we can't have rumors about the series ending on wikipedia." So please get some evidence, or (I hate to sound blunt here) just "shut up". --76.95.66.209 (talk) 23:24, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
The reverse applies, and I have my evidence. It's spelled out in the link above. Four seasons, 97 episodes. Long story short, my position is not the one needing to be backed up. If you wish to claim the series is not over, then you need to provide verifiable sources that it has been renewed. Your video is not such a source. A proper source would be a press release by Moonscoop (which, incidentally, also lists the series as a set number of episodes) or Taffy with an explicit statement to that effect. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 23:33, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Wow. You can see in the future?! No movies? No new episodes? Now let's set everything aside here and see where you have gotten that info that there will never be a revival and take a look at it. Now, let's take a look at the PDFAnd the bullets missed and hit you right back in the ass . Now you see all of those channel icons on page 14. Those are copyrighted. They might be trying to pitch the show. But they (new channels) would want more new material. Another thing is that channels don't look for new material on PDF files for re-run shows. Now if this is a sales-pitch and not a trailer, it is for a new season, because Moonscoop is not going to try to sell re-runs and make a video, a PDF, and more, very detailed documents for an old season seller. Plus that's omitting the fact that Moonscoop said a while back that 3, count them, 3 movies were being made. BTW You said you proved the Season 5 trailer on youtube a fake. Evidence? Penguin...Penguin...Penguin. You have yet to show us that it's done and gone with anything objective, but then I just live in the real world.--76.95.66.209 (talk) 23:51, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
You're missing the point entirely, as well as misreading the facts. You're focusing on "it could happen", which doesn't matter at all. Right now, it's over. That PDF acknowledges it. Four seasons, 97 episodes. Right there in black and white. Your analysis of it being for a new season is completely unfounded and contrary to the very wording of the document. All the channel icons on page 14 are merely foreign broadcasters, and though this may come as a surprise to you, they do not have control over the show being renewed. The episodes are new to them when they get them. Then the show ends, they buy the rights to some other property, life goes on. Whatever Moonscoop said, which incidentally I've never seen officially announced outside of a forum, nothing has come of it.
In case I'm not being clear, I shall endeavor to make this as simple as possible. Unless you can prove, conclusively, that a new season or movies are actually in production, right now, the series is over. That Taffy PDF supports me, Moonscoop supports me, and nothing supports your "it could happen" position. That is what you need to do. Otherwise you're wasting both your and my time trying to prove something that's already been disproven. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:02, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

"They do not have control over the show being renewed". Though this may come as a suprise to you, there are people, yes real people like mommy, and daddy, who make this show and see they need to get paid for their voice talents, and the crew who make the animations come to life. Now you see there's money which the channel, yes the channel pays the creators for getting new material. then the creators pay the crew, now the reason why I point this out is even if it was the most pointless, dumb show in the world, more episodes will be made if money aka channels want it, take the "Billo Factor" on Faux Noise. Now you'd like me to prove that the series is over, I'd need your "future glasses", but right now, and probably forever, you will require reading glasses, since you can't even tell when you're trying to make something clear. "...something that's already been disproven." Evidence? Penguin, please don't make a laughing stock of yourself, because you've been doing a pretty good job of it already, and I wouldn't want to crash wikipedia with all the LOLs and ROLFs I'd have to post to make it up to standard of encyclopedia on the web called wikipedia. BTW This support, first of all you make it sound as if you could find somethings which could support your ego and opinions, and Taffy and Moonscoop aren't it. Plus, time and money are, again the key factors to a show, and since it is alredy well-developed, it is quite fitting for viewers. So please, get a piece of the real world and get a grip on reality. Money is the key. For the right price they could have Season 5 up to today, but again I only live in the real world. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 00:29, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I've made my point clear, and I'm tired of repeating myself. If you wish to prove that the show is not over, the burden of proof lies on you. You have yet to deliver that proof, and until you do the show is over. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:32, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Okay it's obvious I need to alert a charity of your requirements for braile, a hearing aid, and a brain stem. I've asked you to present the evidence that you have so harassed others with. BTW 1. No burden lays wth me; 2. You still are too impaired to see that they have planned three (that's one.......two.......three, in case that's hard to go so high) movies and you viral blindness has made you fail again. Now this I could not agree with more, "...You likely saw the 97 episode thing and halted going further because you don't want to be incorrect... -MataNui44", because you've refused to look at other's (and the world's) evidence and failed to present yours. I'm sorry that you are that way, I sympathize that you are a meglomaniac. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 00:42, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Call me names all you like, but fact is the show is over, and until you can prove otherwise beyond rumor then that won't change. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:48, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Again, evidence please. You're obviously an edit warrior well that's stupid, seriously take it to the sandbox, or the less aptly named litterbox, for your self-messiah beliefs, cause the real world doesn't care about your theories. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 00:53, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't need evidence to prove that it has ended, because it has. There are no new episodes airing and no reliable sources confirming more episodes or movies. Find the announcement about the three movies and you might have something. The burden of proof lies on you, not me. Complaining here just because you can't do that isn't going to change anything. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:58, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Typical. You meglomaniacs (control freaks) always want it both ways. I found this while you've been plotting, and I couldn't act like you aren't doing this here now, "...Sorry but you have been pulling the Speculation card out on me on edits that I would argue are in the exact same spirit. You can't have this both way's. I have put out stuff that meets the standards and you call it speculation. Your doing the same thing on several of the things I have done, so no, you can't do it to me and then cry when I pull the same card on you. But I will call a truce for today as it is getting late. Whippletheduck (talk) 05:18, 18 April 2009 (UTC)...". Now you're trying to get your way, even without fact. I've asked you for evidence, you said you had it, you ignored my request and now you are refusing to show it. The reason for that is your dilusions of your thoughts = fact is the reason, and therefore I will proclaim that you are a posing sham, who can not remember what he has posted nor keep within reality. So unless you come up with some evidence, your creditibilty is zero, which is from me, and should be from anyone observing this page. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 01:07, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Sure, it's over because you didn't get your way. You can believe whatever you want, I don't care, just stop screwing up the real world's wikipedia. But if you really think you're right and can take me on, show me some evidence, but until you do shut u and stop spamming. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 01:18, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Seeing as how my position is the one on the page and currently supported by the facts, such a statement would imply you either agree with me or intend to edit-war your opinion onto the page. If it's the latter, you can see it hasn't gone too well for Mata, and neither will it for you. Wikipedia policy follows my reasoning, I suggest reading up. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 01:23, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, let's fact check that. 1. The only reason your opinions are on the page is because you've hectored and alienated so many editors for the page, they've given up on reverting it to it's original, factual state. 2. I agree with you? Yeah and Rush Limbaugh is a liberal, the hell I do! 3. I'm not the one trying to start an edit-war, I'm trying to maintain facts on the page, not try to convert everyone to my beliefs, but the facts. You are trying to start an edit-war, to force others to see your way, like you did February 2nd and 4th. Yeah, you are following the rules, sure. 4. You are always telling me of your evidence, so man up and show it. 5. Stop reversing it, you're the one who must supply proof, you're the one chanting like Glenn Beck that you have facts, but never show them, interesting. Penguin's credibility: 0. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 02:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

You haven't edited the page last I checked, unless you're admitting to being a sockpuppet. Make personal attacks all you like, but WP:RS is quite clear on the issue. The show is over, and the sources above confirm that. If it is ever renewed, then it won't be over, but it has not been renewed and so it remains over. You have provided no reliable sources to indicate a renewal, but if you did I'd be happy to listen. Right now, to be quite frank, all you're doing is throwing attacks because you can't provide such a source. To draw from your own comment, you're not going to hector or alienate me, so if you want your opinion to have merit you know what to do. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 02:54, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Fact Check 2: 1. I am first putting my correct information on the talk page for credible people to see and discuss what they please about it. 2. You still haven't shown evidence. 3. You have to provide evidence that it is over and since you haven't you've proven yourself that it hasn't ended. 4. Happy? Sure, just like Hannity lying. 5. How can you interpret, " The only reason your opinions are on the page is because you've hectored and alienated so many editors for the page, they've given up on reverting it to it's original, factual state" as "...you're not going to hector or alienate me, so if you want your opinion to have merit you know what to do..."? Seriously, you could stump anyone with that illogical talk. Why don't you just concede that you are wrong? --76.95.66.209 (talk) 03:16, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Because I'm right, and I've proven it. That you are unwilling to listen is not my problem. The show is over. It ended almost a year and a half ago. The date is on the page. There have been no new episodes, no concrete evidence that any new episodes or movies have been or will be produced. If you believe to the contrary, it is up to you to prove it. This is what you need to do. It's as simple as that. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 03:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Fact Check Round 3: 1. I'll put it simple and accurate you are wrong. 2. You have not proven anything. 3. You still can't prove that, though it seems you are oblivious to that. 4. Another opinion. 5. The date of the latest episode is on the page. 5. No, you are right, there have only been announcement of 4 (big number I know) projects. 6. I do, but you have to prove that it is over. 7. No, it is what you have to do. 8. No, it isn't. Congratulations .5/8 = 6.25% = F. Penguin's credibility = 0. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 03:36, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm done with this. Provide a source aside from that PDF and we'll talk, otherwise you cannot verify your claims and any attempt to put them on the page will be reverted. Further personal attacks on me on this page will be reported, as quite frankly I'm tired of this. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 03:42, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Okay then, let the people who have good intentions for the article edit it and add what needs to be added to bring the page to current day accuracy. Also, my claims? Seriously check into it yourself on Google. I have asked you to verify your statements since where and when? A good few many posts ago. So when you are ready to be logical and fair to the people who visit, read and edit this page, you can let me know here or on my talk page, and I will do the best I can. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 03:51, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
I've verified my statements. Four seasons, 97 episodes. Black and white, clear as day. That is my source. "Go check Google" is an excuse for people who can't or don't want to support their own claims. I'll be logical and fair with anyone, but I expect the same. I haven't seen the same from you or the guy sitting out a one-month block. All I see is baseless claims that the show isn't over with no reliable sources to substantiate such a claim. I've debunked the only attempt either of you has made. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 03:57, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Fact Check 4: 1. Where? 2. Which source would that be? 3. Why should I do the work for you? You should be standing on your two feet. 4. Okay then do so, I'm sure everyone would like to see it, but by the same omen, don't edit until you are as such. 5. Which guy was that? Oh and by the way, you started the poor remarks with that sarcastic "...didn't you read above..." 6. Debunked? This isn't a top secret CIA affair, and I don't know who else has bothered trying the seemingly hapless task of trying to reason with you about facts. 7. I've asked you to substantiate your claims but you haven't. As far as I can see, you are not credible in the least. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 04:11, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
This is getting nowhere. You want to whine about my credibility, fine, have a ball. But that's all you'll be doing. You won't be changing anything on the article and you won't be proving the show is ongoing, you'll just be complaining. Complaining doesn't change things, reliable sources do. This, you have not provided. I can prove, very easily, exactly how many episodes this show has. All I have to do is point to that PDF or to Moonscoop's website. You want to prove the show is ongoing, you need to give reliable sources showing it. Post another fact check rant and you'll just be ignored. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
You see you are using all these smart ass remarks like "whine" and "rant", to try and justify your lack of reliable sources. Your credibility degrades every time you post without your alleged sources. I'd also like to point out you are a hypocrite on numerous levels: 1. You want me to find your sources. 2. You complain of things which should be reported, yet you use no care, even in your last post. 3. You're asking me to edit the page yet you revert every edit by anyone but yourself. So why am I supposed to put anything, let alone sources on any CL-related page, so it can be promptly deleted? --76.95.66.209 (talk) 04:38, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Post reliable sources and you'll be taken seriously, simple as that. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:58, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, you see that's what you have to do because you've been ranting about how many reliable sources you have, so I'll show you as soon as you show me. Taken seriously? Am I supposed to take that seriously because you've told me you have sources, and from the looks of things, you don't. So I'm supposed to take you seriously after all that, is it as simple as that??? --76.95.66.209 (talk) 05:06, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Your PDF is one source, Moonscoop is the other, and several of the sites in the External Links have complete episode lists. Those are my sources, which list every episode aired. With no upcoming episodes, and no announcement of an upcoming season, the show is over. Other stuff like video games, books, apparel, sure, but the show is over. If you wish to claim otherwise, reliable sources are needed. Honestly, I don't care how much you want to argue this fact, I will repeat it ad naseum until you understand, and it is the only answer you will get. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:18, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
It doesn't really matter to me what your look at it is and since you don't care about listening I will proceed without care of your opinion, to which still says nothing but what I have already explained above. The episode lists of many websites ussually don't feature things to which no one posts or talks about themselves, and so are dependant and not automatic. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 05:24, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
As I've said, no reliable sources, no inclusion. Code Lyoko Reloaded in particular you are outright misrepresenting. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:35, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
I'd say you're the last person to talk about reliable sources, but I'm not convinced you're human. And seriously WTF CLR even has an internal link here and it's own sources so why the hell are you deleting it? Don't you think it's related, or just because the titles different, it's not relevant or related? WTF! is all that can be said to describe your actions. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 05:40, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Damn, you got me. I'm actually from Mars. Not the Mars you're familiar with, mind you. Anyway, Code Lyoko Reloaded is not what you're trying to portray it as, hence I deleted it as you do not comprehend the source you are taking it from. The three movies also need a source, which you have not provided. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:43, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

The above is basically unacceptable. The article must not indicate new episodes or movies under development, unless it can be verified, using only reliable sources, that there are. WP:V. No reputable secondary sources with a reputation for fact checking have been shown, where sources have been shown that indicate the length of the series and its conclusion. Thus the article should indicate the series has ended, at this time. --Mysidia (talk) 05:44, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
(To Penguin) I'm ROFL, so I'll say this, is it until have an employee telling you, to your face that "they exist", they don't? (To Mysidia) Now would wikipedia be a reliable source by any chance? --76.95.66.209 (talk) 05:51, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
If you could find an employee and have him say that, then you'd have a reliable source. Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. Aliens may exist, but without verification we can't say they do. Wikipedia isn't a reliable source, by the way. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C)
What an employee informally says (short of a well-published, official press release) may or may not be true, but it doesn't quite meet Wikipedia's requirements for reliable sources. If we were to interview an employee, it would basically be original research, and Wikipedia standards of verifiability are specifically higher than that. That a company may be internally considering developing something can be much different from what they have announced, and what is verifiable. --Mysidia (talk) 06:43, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
They aren't well then why do you people care about it to such a degree, Wikia are so much better, they have detailed articles, and they don't have idiot "martians" (who cannot be verified to exist), reverting what anyone else writes (and even proves for them). --76.95.66.209 (talk) 05:59, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Here's some Wikias then, if you prefer a less strict place. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 06:04, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
I like that wiki. I don't prefer "less strict" sites, I prefer sites to which people don't try to start edit wars for their own belief's benefit. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 06:07, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Air on Lyoko?

Is there air on Lyoko? - LyokoWarrior5139 —Preceding unsigned comment added by LyokoWarrior5139 (talkcontribs) 19:09, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

No, it was said in ep. 26. --76.95.66.209 (talk) 06:29, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

BIG NEWS MAJOR NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG i found this right now and i've got to show you it:1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by LyokoWarrior5139 (talkcontribs) 23:54, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

As noted in the huge discussion above, that PDF means nothing, certainly nothing substantial at any rate. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 02:23, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Sitcom?

I am getting reports that there is going to be a Code Lyoko live-action sitcom. Angie Y. (talk) 21:39, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Nothing confirmed, certainly not about a sitcom of all things. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:45, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Stevie Vallance finished casting for something CL-related but she isn't divulging what that is just yet. She told me so in my MySpace inbox. Angie Y. (talk) 23:59, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
You do understand that is hardly a reliable source? — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:22, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

That's what I thought you'd say. Angie Y. (talk) 03:46, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Reverting

Why am I being reverted? I provided sources for the 5th Season, and most of the worldwide channels, as well as correcting spelling errors. What's the problem? Everyman21 (talk) 03:24, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

You didn't provide any source for a fifth season, and the list you keep adding was removed many times before for an entirely different reason. It's already clear you're a sock of a banned user, so don't push your luck trying to fight to keep your edits. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:55, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

I did. Look again. I am MN44, I wanted to make a fresh start, and It was inevitable noone would believe my claims, so I waited. I'm not the same. And for what reason was the list removed? I don't see what makes CL so different than MANY TV show articles with the same list. Everyman21 (talk) 05:24, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

You've decided to make your "fresh start" by making the same edits that got you blocked in the first place. The list is excessive and unnecessary. Sourced or not, it does not belong. There is no source for the fifth season given. That PDF doesn't count. The MMORPG has no reliable third-party source. Until you can find something else, neither of those things belong in the article. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:29, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

If it's "excessive", than what do you propose? A separate article? It's not unnecessary - many are interested in worldwide broadcasts of shows. I didn't give the PDF as a source for S5. Why does the MMORPG need a third party source when it has what is pretty much a 1st party source? That's much more reliable, and in that PDF. Everyman21 (talk) 05:37, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

WP:NOT#DIRECTORY. Do not add it period. Wikipedia is not a TV Guide. We've had this conversation before, and I'm not going over it again. The list isn't getting included. You did not post any source for the fifth season: "Not much is currently known about it, other than it's possibly going to have a new voice cast and/or characters." I don't see a source there, just an assumption. The MMORPG needs a source that actually proves someone is making it now, not that they want it to happen. If you cannot provide either of these of these, there's nothing left to say — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:41, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm curious as to what TV Guide you get that lists international broadcast of shows. If you actually looked instead of being a troublemaker, you could find the source I provided. And don't give me some crap like "not reliable source". The woman herself supplying the info is reliable. Everyman21 (talk) 05:44, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

The PDF by itself is not enough. It's just a marketing package with no helpful information about the status of any of the projects within. It will not fly as a source. Revert again and you get reported as a sock. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:50, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

All you're doing is bringing problems here. ACTUALLY LOOK AT THE DAMN PDF. Who cares if it's a "marketing package"? It's still a valid source from Moonscoop/Taffy that announces the MMORPG's development. Everyman21 (talk) 05:54, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

I've looked repeatedly, and debunked it thoroughly with you. Just because they say it is in a single PDF does not mean it's actually happening. You need another, more recent source to prove that. You have not done so, and refuse to try. Therefore it gets removed, because there isn't any proof it actually exists, in development or otherwise. Incidentally, you've been reported for 3RR. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 06:02, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

I doubt that. You clearly and obviously are out to get be banned again for your own personal amusement. Go watch some videos on Youtube instead. Much more productive entertainment value. Everyman21 (talk) 06:04, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

READ THIS NOW

We need to put info about the 4 novels coming out in Italy and the MMORPG being produced.

I'd do it but I suck at that kind of stuff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.91.89.102 (talk) 01:51, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Inconsistencies?

I just got finished watching this show from start to finish. It looks like there is at least one inconsistency, as if the writers and artists were originally planning on returning William Dunbar as a Lyoko Warrior. Specifically that the Skidbladnir had teleportation pads for five and room for pods for four people, rather than only the four who were ever in it. This might not seem like an inconsistency, but I don't see Jeremy and Aelita going to a lot of extra work to make space for a fifth person who they weren't certain they weren't going to bring back.

What's more is that the show and all its loose ends are tied up too neatly and too abruptly, right after the loss of the Skid. It wasn't very convincing at all. Does anyone have or has anyone heard about what reasons they might have had for killing off XANA so quickly and ending the show? I'm really skeptical. Digitalsabre (talk) 10:04, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Time to archive the talk page

According to Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#When_to_condense_pages a talk page can be cleaned if it exceeds 10 topics or 50 KB.

As of this edit, Wikipedia reports that this page is 88 kilobytes long. There is also 52 topics, most of which are outdated by now, and some which are nothing but mod vs user wars. Everything up to Talk:Code_Lyoko#READ_THIS_NOW (which needs to be renamed btw to something a little more descriptive) should be archived.

I am recommending this to the Talk page cleanup crew. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lord.Quackstar (talkcontribs) 06:11, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
