Public Access
[edit]After reading this page this morning from here in Manila, I went to the palace to visit and tour it. Unfortunately, it is now closed to the public somewhat indefinitely (at least for the duration of the current occupants official political term, which I think is another 4 to 6 years, but possibly more if their successor also chooses to live there). Here's my question: how do I represent this fact on the Wiki page while properly citing sources? I attempted to search this information before going to the location, but I couldn't find any relevant news articles, an official C. Palace website, etc. It is of course possible that information exists online and I just missed it. I did, however, have the foresight to take a picture of the closed gate and the security guard I talked to who both barred my entry and informed me it is no longer open to the public (to be fair he was super nice about it). Anyway, is my photographic evidence good enough for an official Wiki citation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dsuchter (talk • contribs) 09:08, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
- The Place was actually close during those time. The reasons behind was when it was granted by President Benigno Aquino III to the office of the Vice president, major renovations was made and the office of the vice president was still in process of transferring. It is open for public by now. Check the website of the office of the vice-president here http://www.ovp.gov.ph/ for reservations.
