The result of the move request was: pages moved as requested, but with Clover (application) instead renamed to Clover (mobile app) with a hat note added. Harej (talk) 15:07, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
- Clover (application) → Clover (app)
- Flook (application) → Flook (app)
- Tinder (application) → Tinder (app)
– The most recognisable name for application, according to common use, is app - also per Dyp (app), Prismatic (app), Secret (app) and Whisper (app). GregKaye 03:45, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose – No such word exists. This is not the encylopaedia of argot. RGloucester — ☎ 17:32, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support, but the nominator's rationale could use a little bit of clarity. It seems that the disambiguator "app" is the unofficially-established standard for mobile apps that aren't video games. "Application" seems to refer to computer applications when used as an article disambiguator. Steel1943 (talk) 00:57, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom and WP:CONCISE Red Slash 03:27, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- When you have a title at the length of Clover (application), WP:CONCISE is irrelevant. The only issue is getting things right. GregKaye 19:57, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- That's a new interpretation of WP:CONCISE that I respectfully don't agree with. Red Slash 19:53, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

- Comment mixed findings:
- the type of software is Mobile app
- Tinder uses both app and application. see: site:https://www.gotinder.com app OR application
- Books gives similar results for both app and application
- (Clover OR Flook OR Tinder) application "mobile phone" gets "About 1,170 results"
- (Clover OR Flook OR Tinder) app "mobile phone" gets "About 1,210 results"
- GregKaye 20:25, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Move Clover (application) → Clover (mobile app). Other two, support as nominated. For clover, the current disambiguator, and the proposed one, both conflict with Clover (software), which can also be called an app or application. — Amakuru (talk) 09:28, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

App Defunct
[edit]Apparently the company went out of business. The app no longer loads and the website brings you to a merchant POS system. 73.100.100.252 (talk) 00:09, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
