NPOV?
[edit]Was this article written by the Circle K PR team? This sounds like a glossy from Circle K's website's about page. 216.59.208.82 (talk) 06:20, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]I remember Circle K briefly running the convenience stores in the new-style service areas along the Massachusetts Turnpike, before they were rebranded as Exxon Tigermarts... 71.123.121.94 04:24, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

I will no longer be a customer as your store manager on George St. In Sydney, Nova Scotia is very rude, ignorant and does not know how to deal with customers. Your night shift employee messed up my acct. And did not correct the issue, when I called the manager she then informs me she has my money, which should have been put back on my acct. When I the employee should not be working alone when he doesn't know what he's doing. She said I have no right to talk to her ignorantly and hung up on me. I had every right as it's costing me more money in gas to drive half an hour out of my way to get back what was mine to begin with... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:B100:B1F:E38C:0:14:B17A:AD01 (talk) 16:31, 7 June 2023 (UTC)

Mantis Asmantas?
[edit]Just want to be 100% sure. Who is Mantis Asmantas? I can't find anything about him online. I also noticed in this article's history that Fred Harvey was the founder until an IP user added this new name. Was this simply vandalism that wasn't corrected for over a year? --NuclearVacuum (talk) 04:12, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
Plastics?
[edit]From the article:
Fountain drinks at Circle K are sold in Polar Pop cups, previously called Thirst Busters, are available in expanded polystyrene cups. In areas where polystyrene containers are illegal, plastic cups are offered. The 52-ounce cups are plastic.
Polystyrene is a plastic. So I don't understand the distinction being made here. --Tkynerd (talk) 11:25, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- The key is "expanded" polystyrene, i.e. Styrofoam (though that's actually a genericized trademark). The second sentence drops the key adjective, changing the meaning. I added that second use of "expanded", and fixed the link to be more specific. oknazevad (talk) 08:55, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
Wage violations
[edit]If anyone familiar with the topic can flesh this out I think it would be quite helpful. As is it offers very little-none really-as to the practices that were used which resulted in the suit and settlements. It comes off slanted due to the lack of details. Not headquartered in Tempe. False info.
