Review comments
[edit]Some suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:
- Template:Infobox Scientist should be added
- Photograph should be added from a source with a free license
- Some basic biographical information required, including further education details (with dates), positions held etc
- Article needs expanding and should emphasise reasons for notability of subject; at present it's unclear that the subject meets WP:BIO
- After expansion, article should be divided into appropriate subheadings
- Specific information on research should be added, with references
- References should be expanded and preferably converted to inline format
- External links present which could be used to expand article

Manolescu, an American!!!
[edit]Ok. Let's analyze this statement. Manolescu is an alumni at Havard. It's ok. He works there. This is ok too. The main thing is that, theese two facts are not enough to recognize him as American. Why? Because, he studied and works at Harvard. He is not an immigrant from Romania. If I go and become an alumni at Harvard, and carry on to work at the University I will become an American. This isn't common in other countries. It's just in the United States. I am strongly against the Category:American mathematicians. This seems to be an American propaganda.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 19:45, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- As belated as this may be, I agree with the above statement.--Giuseppe86 (talk) 23:31, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

I do not think that there is any need to have this record in Wikipedia. The purpose of Wikipedia is not to collect all available information, but the important information. Maybe, such an entry will find its place in 10 or 20 years. Why does Wikipedia contain a collection of "Romanian Vegetarians"? There is even less need for that. |
