Cincinnati MastersCincinnati Open – This is a joint WTA/ATP event, but the WTA does not use "Masters" terminology. Additionally, "Cincinnati Open" gets about 2x the ghits of "Cincinnati Masters" (2,250,000 vs 913,000). Hameltion (talk | contribs) 05:46, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agree to move - Two basic rules we try to follow in tennis tournaments. 1) No sponsored names for for an event that spans years. No problem with this aspect since neither Cincinnati Open nor Indian Wells Open have sponsors in the titles. and 2) try to use a natural disambiguation rather than parentheses. Again no issue, since both potential titles redirect to the tennis pages in question we would not need to add (tennis) to either new title. With no mechanical issues all we have is your basic argument to look at. And I happen to agree with your argument. All terms are very well used in the press. I would move both the tournaments in question because they are joint WTA/ATP events. Fyunck(click) (talk) 03:53, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
