question on language - need a Portuguese speaker

[edit]

In Church of the Third Order of Our Lady of the Rosary of the Black People#Construction, it says "The consistory[disambiguation needed] was constructed in 1796." My understanding is that a consistory is a gathering of people, not a architectural feature of a church. This has created a DAB error that I'm trying to clean up. Can anyone confirm whether this sentence should be deleted or corrected? TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 20:54, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Someone came and changed the dab, but it's still wrong. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 00:33, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I wrote this article. I'm looking at a floor plan of the church, and it doesn't have the word "consistory", but it's in the literature. I'm visiting the church in three works and I'll clarify things then. Thanks! Prburley (talk)
