Notability guideline Q

[edit]

Hi, I don't really understand why my article has been flagged as possibly not meeting notability guidelines. Menefee is the County Attorney for Harris County, the 3rd largest county in the country, representing almost 5 million people. More people live in Harris County than 25 states. Because he has butted heads with the Republican state government, much of his litigation has been covered in both the state and national news - check the footnotes. The Houston Chronicle, Houston Public Media, local ABC & Fox Affiliates, Ballotpedia, The Daily Beast, MSNBC, CNN, Vanity Fair, and some other web sources. He is also notable because of his success at a young age and for breaking the color barrier at this position, which is addressed in the references mentioned above.

Lastly, his counterpart, Kim Ogg, the district attorney for Harris County, has a large Wiki. Other comparable Houston politicians with less national coverage would be Abbie Kamin or Edward Pollard, who have both been deemed notable enough for articles.
