Chris and Blanche Blackwell
[edit]I was reading about Ian Fleming today, whose lover in Jamaica was Blanche Blackwell. Knowing that Chris B came from Jamaica, I wondered if there was a connection between these Blackwells. Blanche turns out to be Chris's mother! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.7.55 (talk) 00:06, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Why no mention of his personal life ... is he (has he ever been) married? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.252.39.226 (talk) 22:52, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

the above comment is by me. Also, i made some additions and corrections to this bio and all of it was dumped including correcting the spelling of "lollipop". The song title "My Boy Lollipop" did not feature the letter "y" in lollipop. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.224.185 (talk) 02:00, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Sorry above two remarks were made by me. i worked for Island from 1973 to 1996. Danny Holloway — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.224.185 (talk) 02:01, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Celebratory and Promo Language
[edit]The language used has a hero making tone (eg: "Island Records, acknowledged as the most successful and groundbreaking independent record company in history.") and a promotional communication structure throughout. --Tickerhead (talk) 01:25, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Bob Marley section clean up
[edit]Never having done editing on Wikipedia, only the occasional comment in Talk, I’m not sure how to ask for help. But it’s me, whatever-my-handle-is, asking for some guidence. This article is a mess and yet, maybe too important to bd left in the cold. Hopefully l, my ADHD brain will allow me to get back here soon to check for comments unless Yalk is utterly ignored Ekinrade (talk) 18:19, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
