Notability

[edit]

I'm removing the notability tag from this article, as Chopmaster J clearly passes the hurdle of WP:MUSICBIO. In particular, as part of Digital Underground, he had U.S. Top 40 hits with "Doowutchalike" and "The Humpty Dance", satisfying criterion 2. I believe the album containing those singles, Sex Packets, was certified gold platinum, which meets criterion 3. A quick Google News search returns many hits, meeting criterion 1. I believe he may meet several other criteria listed there as well. Frankly, the notion that Chopmaster J isn't notable is absurd. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 00:34, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

COI?

[edit]

I'm removing the COI tag because there is nothing in the record, either in the talk page or in the change logs, to substantiate the claim. I see no evidence that an editor of this page has a conflict of interest. While the article, in its present state, is not encyclopedic and far from WP:NPOV, neither qualifies this article to be tagged as COI. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 00:36, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, this one isn't obvious at first glance... but the text I omitted is in the scrolling marquee on the cited page. It's easier to see if you look at the page's source code. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 01:03, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
