[edit]I spent a bunch of hours reading over the linked citations and added more from newspapers. The way the article first read, there was no history of the belt, it seemed to just spring up. The history citation #1 was really informative and showed that there was a long history of it being used. Very interesting topic, I learned quite a bit and I'm sure will wow strangers with my knowledge of cholera and cholera flannel belts which will probably mean I will have very short conversations with people. I looked on WikiMedia Commons for a image of red flannel or of one of these belts but could not find one. There may be some in museums, I did find one on a Google search but am not confident of my licensing skills to upload it.
As usual with these rewrites of mine, I will keep this page on my watchlist for a short time, so if you should have a question please contact me directly, I may miss your message here. Thank you and enjoy! Sgerbic (talk) 07:01, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
- Made some mild rewrites today, but I'll leave additional edits to others. A very cool (do you get that one?) piece of history. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 17:55, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
