Fair use rationale for Image:Chiquitita Lovelight.jpg

[edit]

Image:Chiquitita Lovelight.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:20, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are the dates right on this release?

[edit]

If this was to be a single from Voulez-Vous should it have been recorded and released before Voulez-Vous? Discogs has it listed as 1978 for some countries. Chiquitita-Lovelight single --Tsmolen (talk) 18:28, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

==Clarification needed: "El Condor Pasa" reference==

The article mentions a cover of the Simon & Garfunkel song "El Condor Pasa", but it is not clear what the relationship is between the two songs. Please clarify.

If It Wasn't For The Nights

[edit]

If It Wasn't For The Nights was released in the US. It was played on AM and FM radio stations that only played official singles — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:540:C400:8C80:D0F3:A601:D786:1E4C (talk) 20:51, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's all fine in the article ... BUT

[edit]

WHAT was the inspiration for and development of the song? These kind of WIKI articles about songs need a section entitled "SONGWRITING, BACKGROUND & INSPIRATION." The article should cite everything ever said about the creation of the song by the songwriter himself, in every recorded interview or book. This is already done in a feeble and limited way for some of the Beatles songs, but should be done for EVERY song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Starhistory22 (talkcontribs) 22:32, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
