Chinese Daily → Chinese Mail – MMIS system of the Hong Kong Public Libraries indicated that "華字日報" is known as Chinese Mail. While China Mail was in fact another English-language newspaper. You can check the Masthead of the newspaper in the 1940. Matthew hk (talk) 23:39, 28 May 2020 (UTC) —Relisting. Natg 19 (talk) 00:52, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- I can't even find the term Chinese Daily came from where...Matthew hk (talk) 23:42, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nominator, the masthead itself, and multiple WP:RS like [1][2][3] all calling it Chinese Mail against only one source [4] I can find calling it "Chinese Daily". FWIW it seems at some point they switched from using The Chinese Mail to just Chinese Mail in their masthead; see [5] (1916) vs. File:香港華字日報.png (1895). 59.149.124.29 (talk) 10:59, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
