[edit]@Johnpacklambert: I reverted your original edit because I saw the citation link had gone dead and figured you deleted the information thinking it was editorializing. In my opinion, the deleted information is worth including because it shows that this wasn't just normal membership growth in the segregated South and it supports the earlier assertion that "[t]he Chickasaw Council became a leader in racial integration in Scouting."
