Info on available styles
[edit]I would like to see more info on the available styles (like the LS) and what the differences were. HOW MANY S10 STEPSIDE PICKUPS WERE BUILD IN 2001, RED IN COLOR — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.201.235.58 (talk) 22:14, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Metric system
[edit]The early S-10 pickups had a 50L (13.2 gal) fuel tank in accordance with the metric conversion act of 1975. I'm not sure if the 19 Gal tanks were based on metric measurements, 72 L seems like an odd figure. Not to mention the engine displacement is usually annotated in Liters.
Merger Proposal S-10 Blazer
[edit]I propose that this page be merged with Chevrolet S-10 as these two products are so closely related, unless the technology and design of the two vehicles are significantly different. Rrostie (talk) 01:11, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - The design is significantly different: The S-10 is a pickup truck and primarily a work vehicle while the S-10 Blazer is a truck-based station wagon and is primarily a family vehicle. They're as different as the Chevelle and the El Camino. Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 02:21, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
- Support - The pickup and the SUV are very closely related as the nominator mentioned. Also, the pickup had three different body styles (single cab, space cab, dual cab) that are quite different in themselves so including the three- and five-door SUVs would hardly be of harm. - Oppose per Samblob. Additionally, while the nominee mentions the fact that it was related to the Chevrolet S-10, he overlooks the connection to the original Chevrolet Blazer. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:34, 16 July 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - The design is significantly different: I own a S-10 Blazer and know the S-10 Pickup as well. There are several significant differences even pointed out in the Service Manual and the Drivability and Emissions Control Manual. There are mechanical differences and the electrical systems differ as well. Body differs and options are not the same. Then there is also the name: S-10 Blazer is only used for the SUV style while the pickup is never referenced as Blazer. error_401 (talk) 21:42, 18 August 2014 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Chevrolet S-10 EV into Chevrolet S-10
[edit]The article on the EV is largely unsourced. A WP:BEFORE does not show that this vehicle has been the subject of significant coverage on its own. Finally, the criteria of WP:PAGEDECIDE seem to argue in favor of a merger with the main article. Accordingly, I propose a cleanup of the unsourced content and subsequent merge with Chevrolet S-10. - Oppose; notability as the world's first electic pickup truck. I've added some references in support. Klbrain (talk) 08:27, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

- Closing, with no merge, given the uncontested objection and no support. Klbrain (talk) 12:07, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
