Chestnut Hill Culture

[edit]

This section on Underground Pot Culture -

Chestnut Hill has unique place in the city boundaries and the residents also have a large amount of money. Because of its unique attributes, Chestnut Hill, the suburbs around it and parts of Mt. Airy are the central for some of the nicest marijuana in Philadelphia. It was mentioned in Philadelphia Magazine and in High Times Magazine for its large pot culture.

was removed by me because, while referenced, it seem to be too grand in scope. Is one local magazine article about some people who smoke pot as important to someone who knows nothing about Chestnut Hill as its History or its Parks and Playgrounds or its Educational Institutions? Not really. It's relatively insignificant.

That being said, looking over the article and there's not a real good place to put it, in smaller role as a single sentence. It should be in a section about Culture in general. But, if this is the only entry in the Culture subheading, then some other editor will very likely delete it. If anyone would care to provide some further information about Chestnut Hill Culture or Society, then this referenced statement in shortform could surely have a place there. But for now, it's a little too dubious to keep on its own. JesseRafe (talk) 23:37, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
