From my point of view, this is advertisement for a single product or manufacturer. There are many other chemicals available from different manufacturers for the conditioning of boiler and cooling water.

Merge of Fineamin

We have two articles on what appear to be two commercial brandnames for products that are similar or identical, used for the same process of boiler feedwater treatment. Notability for these individuals is unclear (as brands), although the product type in general is. Each article cites the same single source for general principles, a source that cites Helamin as an exemplar of the type. The Fineamin article was created later, as an almost verbatim copy of Helamin. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:40, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merging one brand into another doesn't seem to be a good idea as it would mean listing one of the products as under the heading of a competitor. Perhaps it would be better, therefore, to merge both to a new neutral page, Chemical fouling inhibitors. Alternatively, merge to Fouling#Fouling control, although that page is already large and additional content would make it unwieldy. Klbrain (talk) 00:18, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
