Pronunciation
[edit]I know there is a joke about the clocks at Chatto and Windus that ends (if I remember correctly), "There's nobody to Chatto and Windus". Could anybody confirm the pronunciation please. I think it is Shatto and Wind (as in winding a clock: "i"="eye").--Oxonian2006 15:57, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
And
[edit]Any objection to moving "Chatto and Windus" to "Chatto & Windus"? Your own image uses the ampersand, and so does this, which is the closest thing I found to an official website. WP:& says "Retain ampersands in titles of works or organizations, such as The Tom & Jerry Show or AT&T." Art LaPella (talk) 04:12, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Project Gutenberg
[edit]I don't know how to create a better link, but the previous one was definitely inadequate. Search Gutenberg for "Chatto".deisenbe (talk) 11:28, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
