The rationale for deleting is strong given the criteria listed. The contested nature of his election is a significant event in the history of the diocese of Florida and the Episcopal church, and is (must more briefly) explained in the history section of the diocese's page. Since Holt's own past actions and statements are the occasion for some of his dispute, that does suggest that an entry may be warranted. But it is true he is not yet a bishop and is not a noted scholar. Y.D.McGinty (talk) 14:54, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The page is am important resource for Episcopalians that need to know Holt's background, especially during this historically controversial bishop approval process. Holt is the bishop coadjutor-elect of the Diocese of Florida and will continue to be unless he fails to receive majority consents of bishops and standing committees in the Episcopal Church.
