The material on Jerusalem could be considerably expanded. Some of his exploits were truly hair raising, real Indiana Jones stuff. Gila Yudkin gives an introduction here.
The publication of the stories of his explorations, which often read like something out of Boy's Own magazine, did a lot to raise his profile and help him in his subsequent career. Jheald (talk) 15:09, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The second sentence of this paragraph (begins "In 1876 the Colonial Office appointed him...") reads nonsensically; an error or has it been 'vandalised' by someone with a retrospective anti-British axe to grind, given it concludes "and his corrupt, immoral thieving British Land Claims Commission." Is it perhaps two sentences written erroneously as one? Worth investigating.Cloptonson (talk) 17:55, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The lede mentions that Warren's term as Police Commissioner covered the period of the Ripper murders. But the section on his police service does not mention this at all. It would be good to have an encyclopedic reference to this matter, in order to clarify the story for those who have only read the conspiracy theories. Valetude (talk) 21:33, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've restored a whole section that should have never been removed. It is referenced but it isn't hard to find more material on this. Warren is perhaps best known in the modern day for his involvement with the murders in Whitechapel. — Berean Hunter(talk)22:25, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
