Scope of investment
[edit]The Cleveland Indians article says that Somers was the co-owner with Kilfoyl in 1901(?). I wonder whether there is any reliable public information. Anyway, being an encyclopedia, we should be consistent. (Is it practical to try to locate the sources used Cleveland and Somers authors? Maybe not, this one being a less than ample stub.) --P64 03:45, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
P.S. I don't have a proper citation (my memory of contemporary newspaper coverage) but I know the baseball fraternity believed that Somers owned part of the Cleveland club and helped others financially, too.
