Hi, I'm reviewing this article in reponse to your Good Article nomination.

Consistency

One thing I've noticed with this article is the consistency of the spelling of 'Pepsi-Cola'. Is it Pepsi Cola or Pepsi-Cola? This issue needs to be cleared up before I pass this page. This is just minor; there are lots of major problems that should also be attended to, see below.

Depth and comprehensiveness

While this article is supposed to be a biography, biographies generally don't start past age fifty. There definitely needs to be an 'early life' section to cover the first fifty-three years of Guth's life.

Additionally, the first and sections need to be significantly expanded. For example, 'the police had to intervene to ensure it did not become a riot' - why? There is nothing in the article to explain why Guth was controversial, if he was at all.

Sources

Whilst the addition of a 'TIME Magazine' source is very good, the first reference link does not appear to be a reliable source and should most likely be removed. The problem I have with that link is that it's a 'wiki-style' biographical dictionary and only contains a couple of bullet-points about Guth. Otherwise, your sources are very good.

Overall review

While I can see that a lot of time and effort has gone in to this article, it does not appear to be comprehensive enough as of yet. I would strongly recommend that you compare this article with other biographies; for example, Pierre Trudeau. Additionally, take a look at the WikiProject Biography's structure guidelines for more information about how to write a biography on Wikipedia. So, for now, I'm going to have to fail this article, as I don't think these issues can be cleared up quickly - I would love to be able to pass it, but the guidelines at WP:RGA and WP:GACR just won't let me pass this article and I'd probably get into a bit of trouble if I did! Instead of relisting at WP:GAN, just drop me a line at my talk page and I'll get on to your renomination rather than you having to wait for another reviewer to come along.
