I removed the mention of the first line of the book "reportedly being..." since the book has since been published. 170.145.0.100 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:56, 19 April 2010 (UTC).
Do we know that it was Kincaid who shot him? 209.232.223.253 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:16, 21 April 2010 (UTC).
Source on Kincaid being the shooter please? Butcher certainly didn't say it in the Q&A. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.232.216.177 (talk) 05:26, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- There is no source that confirms that. It is, however, almost the exact method Kincaid described as one he'd use to kill Harry if he had to - a sub-sonic round shot from a sniper rifle at a long distance. Thing is, Kincaid also specifically said he'd go for a headshot (to prevent Harry casting a death curse), which our unidentified shooter didn't do. --The Fifth Horseman (talk) 11:40, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
This book may have the single most Evil and Despicable cliff-hanger that I have ever read. Can we add a special tag for this? Some readers, if they knew this ahead of time, might consider waiting for the next book. Dfmclean (talk) 15:33, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
This article could use a few edits. Not the most encyclopedic entry. 129.237.225.177 (talk) 08:09, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Synopsis
[edit]The synopsis is vastly too long. It should be a few paragraphs at best. Efficacious (talk) 00:21, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
- I know it took a while (2-1/2 years isn't too long, is it?), but I trimmed up the plot. I removed the tag, as well. MjolnirPants Tell me all about it. 15:49, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
Danielle Steel
[edit]The title cannot be at (novel) because of the better known book. Per WP:BOOKDAB series names may be used. In ictu oculi (talk) 05:50, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
