Automakers information and award
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
I'm making a request here as an employee of Cerence, to ask if it would be possible to add a short table to list the automakers who use Cerence technology in their vehicles, similar to the lists in the Alexa and Android Automotive pages.
Using the Alexa page's table coding as a guide, this is what I'm thinking:
- Cerence technology is used in vehicles produced by automakers including the following:
Brand | Product | References |
---|---|---|
Audi | vehicles (select models) | [1] |
BMW | vehicles (select models) | [2] |
Ford | vehicles (select models) | [3] |
Mercedes-Benz | vehicles (select models) | [4] |
Renault | vehicles (select models) | [5] |
Toyota | vehicles (select models) | [6] |
VinFast | vehicles (select models) | [7] |
Volkswagen | Golf 8 GTI and other select models | [8] |
Additionally, in 2022 Cerence won an award at CES for its Co-Pilot technology. Can something like the following be added to the History?
- The company received a CES Innovation Award in 2022 for its in-vehicle smart voice assistant technology, Cerence Co-Pilot.[7]
Are editors willing to make these additions? Let me know if any changes are needed. Thanks. Khickman416400 (talk) 16:34, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Not done: All sources stem from the same medium, which is advertorial in nature; I also don't think the "award" is notable. PK650 (talk) 02:34, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

FY 2022 Update

I'm making a request here as an employee of Cerence, to ask if it would be possible to use the company's 10-K for FY2022 that has been filed with the SEC, to update the employee number and add the revenue.
Here are the specifics:
Are editors willing to make these updates? Let me know if I can help with anything else. Thanks, Khickman416400 (talk) 13:44, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

Just Talk addition
[edit]Hi editors, I'm back here on this Talk page with a minor request. I've drafted up a new sentence that covers Cerence's Just Talk technology, which does not currently exist in the article as of now. Ideally, this sentence would be added at the end of the Products section.
I've backed up this sentence with a citation from Autohome, which I've found on other Wikipedia articles related to vehicle technology. Here is the sentence:
Just Talk sentence

Cerence's Just Talk vehicle technology that the company launched in 2023 does not require wake-up commands and only will execute requests from the voice of the registered driver of the car. [1] References

If there are any questions about this request, please let me know. Thanks, Khickman416400 (talk) 16:27, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, just jumping back into this thread to see if user:Ptrnext would have any interest in evaluating this request since I see you've been active on this Talk page previously. Thank you so much! Khickman416400 (talk) 16:26, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
