Isn't there a University of Michigan think tank by the same name? Well, save that the C is for "Center", not "Centre". I've seen it sourced as conducting national election surveys. Fearwig 19:58, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ruth Lea has very recently (30-Oct-2006) been seen on UK TV stating that the science behind global warming is uncertain and scientists are undecided. This is clearly not the case as all unbiased assesments of peer-reviewed scientific papers on the subject show. This statement is strongly reminiscent of the "anti-action on climate change" view espoused by oil-funded 'science' lobbies in the USA and of the current US administration's political view. Is there someone out there who can add to this entry details of funding and interests of this highly politically motivated body?

This is asking for the article to be edited with an inappropriately POV perspective. The use of the pejorative term "right wing" in the very first sentence was already improperly POV. It has been removed.
