Talk:Censorship in Bolivia

This article needs an update given that it entirely deals with Evo Morales' administration, which was overthrown in November 2019. The article also lacks neutrality, as it is entirely devoted to Morales' (who became president in 2006) alleged attempts at censorship without talking about the previous history of Bolivia (a country which has had the biggest amount of military dictatorships in all of the Americas and therefore, a long history of censorship and political repression). In particular, a section of the article reads "These newspapers have to be careful not to cross the line too much for fear of actions by the state", and the source provided in the article for this claim is an essay from 1990, that is, sixteen years before Morales even took office. I'm not Bolivian nor an expert in Bolivian history though, which is why I hope users with full knowloedge of the topic can contribute to update this article and make it more neutral.--CHUI372 (talk) 20:04, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
