... that Celine-Marie Pascale said her book Living on the Edge highlights how "business practices and government policies create, normalize and entrench economic struggles for many in order to produce extreme wealth for a few"? Source: The Indypendent
Article is new, long enough and neutral. It cites sources inline. "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" reports " moderate rate text similarities, commenting "violation Unlikely". The hook is well-formatted,. Its length exceeds the limit by 23 characters. An ALT-hook needs to be provided. QPQ was done. CeeGee08:36, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alt1 ... that Celine-Marie Pascale's work focuses on how race and class impact the way "business practices and government policies create, normalize and entrench economic struggles" to benefit the wealthy?
ALT1 hook is well-formatted, interesting, and its length is within limit. It is cited inline. Everything is fine now. Good to go. CeeGee08:52, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Cmpascale! From your username, I assume you are Celine-Marie Pascale? Generally, per conflict of interest rules, subjects of an article aren't meant to edit it directly, but suggest changes on the talk page here if there is incorrect information. Anyways, can you explain why the Early life information is incorrect? The information is cited to this source, which was a direct interview with the subject. So it seems like it would be accurate. You are correct. I am freaked out by having all of this personal information online… birthplace, birth year, etc. it makes me very vulnerable to all kinds of identity theft. I am working with UCSC to have their site taken down because it contains significant misinformation. 2603:7080:3AF0:7BF0:3CC5:69FA:937C:BCFB (talk) 20:53, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Were your answers in the interview incorrect? I can probably remove the brothers line, as that one isn't super relevant to your article, but birth place and year is pretty commonplace information for a biography. And the info about your parents doesn't list their names or anything like that. SilverserenC21:04, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
hello @Cmpascale I've removed a some more of the early life section, which hopefully will help to ease some anxiety. There's a wider discussion on the topic here - one of the salient points there is that your DOB can still be found through VIAF - although that's not as widespread at Wikipedia, it might be something to also consider in terms of identity fraud? Thank you for your patience while we resolve these queries: the majority of Wikipedia editors are volunteers and this biography was made as part of a group drive on gender studies and the work is undertaken with good faith. If there is more misinformation, let us know. Best wishes Lajmmoore (talk) 09:09, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
