Requirements
[edit]For those hoping to improve the article:
- Some reliable sources need to be found; this was just based on a translation of the French and Italian articles after I realized the English version had some inaccuracies (e.g. the date of construction of the old Tunis Pro-cathedral had been used instead of for the current building, whose dates can be confirmed on structurae).
- DATES! When did this place become a Pro-cathedral (was the ruined old building ever fully functional?), when did it become a full cathedral, and when did this become the headquarters of the Catholic Church in Tunisia? All vital questions. Were there ever two functioning cathedrals in Tunisia, one in Tunis in addition to the Saint Louis Cathedral, Carthage or was there just a transfer of power from one center to the other? When did they sort out the wooden bell-towers?
- Knowing the exact latitude/longitude (can probably be unearthed from the net somewhere), a bonus would be a location map within Tunis (or at least, Tunisia...)
- I correct a link from Moorish to Moorish architecture but I am about 90% certain it should really go to Moorish revival - any suggestions?
- Sorting out historical photos - the French wiki has one with a clearly incorrect date (1890), but that's based on the dating of the photo at Commons. Anybody half-knowledgeable should check out commons:File talk:Tunis saint vincent 1890.jpg and try to work out what's happening :/ TheGrappler (talk) 02:12, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
