Just removed a reference that was added by TheHappiestCritic a couple of years ago. That user has been banned for a while, not sure if it's related to this issue. But the referenced site is now a spam site, completely devoid of any information about catalytic heat. RobNich (talk) 18:51, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
I thought it would be a good idea to include these proposed/posted changes. I believe that adding to the definition helps it become more robust, as well as defines what the heater does and what it is. In my research I found that there are specific types of catalytic heaters, so i believe that should fall under the “types” heading and move what is there down to its own section. The current information under types, as well as some new information, should go under functions since it describes what a catalytic heater does. It doesn’t make much sense to have this information under types since it doesn’t define specific types, it just gives examples.
I reused most of the information already in the article, I just reworded and re-positioned it within the page. FallenSkittle (talk) 02:04, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
Safety section as of 2024
[edit]I don't think I have much to say here... I've... tried? to do something shaped like the preliminaries cleanup in the safety section, but I think I've just made more of a mess? I wanted to just prune some sentences but I thought that may not be so useful. The reference is both a self-pub and a dead link. Ellenor2000 (talk) 13:03, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
