The result of the move request was: page moved as originally proposed per WP:SILENCE, considering the nominator is the only participant in this discsssion. On a related note, Godart's numberwing already exists as a redirect towards this page (as the nominator apparently wanted per their follow-up comment which is basically requesting that the page be moved twice.) Callicore pygas → Catagramma pygas – The species has been renamed from Callicore pygas (Citizen science observations for Catagramma pygas at iNaturalist) to Catagramma pygas (Citizen science observations for Catagramma pygas at iNaturalist). Also see Animal Diversity Web, Global Biodiversity Information Facility. There is also a svwp page sv:Catagramma_pygas that may need to be included in the language editions. - There are actually 2 issues: title change and taxon change. Most Wikipedia species pages use the common name (if it exists) as page title, for example Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus), Great egret (Ardea alba). This has the advantage that the title (thus the URL) does not change when the binomial name changes. Thus I propose first a title change to Godart's numberwing, followed by taxon change.Peterwchen (talk) 10:18, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
