removal of certain lines
[edit]I have removed a few lines that just don't seem relevant to an article about the generic term "Caseworker." The statements about caseworker abuse (one incident) may be more appropriate for an article about that, or, better, perhaps, in the Foster Care article. SamDavidson 21:40, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Proposed contributions
[edit]Hello! I'm a UC Berkeley student interested in contributing to this article as a part of my research through the Global Poverty & Practice minor at my university. My proposed contributions largely focus on expanding the section "Multicultural prevalence and acceptability" in order to include more viewpoints in this article. I'd also like to add a history-based section focused on the development of case work as a form of social work in both the United States and other parts of the world (especially as it might pertain to the "Multicultural prevalence" section). Please let me know of any advice before I endeavor on these contributions! I look forward to working with everyone. Thank you! Butnotsowithus (talk) 08:57, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
New section: "History of the term"
[edit]Hello! I'm proposing a new added section to this page called "History of the term" to explain and clarify how the term case work emerged within the context of the Charity Organisation Society. I am also hoping to reorganize this page so that this section can clarify the difference between the term "Case worker" and "Case manager" and link to the appropriate pages about case management. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Butnotsowithus (talk • contribs) 21:41, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
