[edit]- User:DTravers claims that the article's external links to housing.com point to a site that has engaged in violation of copyrights held by him as former editor of Art & Architecture. This seems believable. Editors of this article should be mindful of Wikipedia's policy. (Wikipedia:Copyrights#Linking_to_copyrighted_works). --Dystopos (talk) 23:36, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Housing.com has taken down its Case Study House presentations, which were in violation of copyright. New links now take the visitor to the copyrighted Arts & Architecture magazine website presentations of the houses.Dtravers (talk) 00:27, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help in getting this sorted out. --Dystopos (talk) 03:36, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
I went to the ModSims2 link that is on the CSH site and fail to see a relationship to the program. The "accessories" listed are decades after the program and wouldn't have been considered for inclusion if available.Dtravers (talk) 19:37, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Table
[edit]I'm neither a lover of, nor a master of, wikitables. In this case, though, it seemed like a way to make it easier to see what was going on. I'm sure a lot of functional and aesthetic improvements could be made by someone more skilled than myself. --Dystopos (talk) 01:05, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
New Case Study Houses
[edit]the japanese architect Shigeru Ban calls his experimental habitats also Case Study Houses. there must be about 15 houses. interesting enough for mentioning it?? greets. --Mimar20zero9 (talk) 01:15, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Unbuilt design
[edit]Are there no articles or books anywhere that give reasons why the unbuilt designs were not used? (e.g., Were any thought to be structurally unsound? impractical? Were any of the houses unable to be built because the designers were too busy, no land available, no interest by potential buyers?) Lawikitejana (talk) 11:55, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Internal Link - Bailey House
[edit]The link on Case Study House 20A (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bailey_House_%E2%80%93_Case_Study_House) directs to Case Study House 21B. According to Arts & Architecture, 20A is The Bailey House. According to the Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument listing, 21B is the Bailey House. Seeking more information. Case Study #20B - Bass House
[edit]The article states this house as "Demolished" but this house is actually still intact.

House numbers are very confusing
[edit]Not sure how the Case Study numbers got so confused. I see two No. 1 houses, two No. 16's (not adjacent to each other on the chart, which is doubly confusing), two No. 17's, two No. 18's, a 19a but no No. 19, two 20's, two 21's, and one that has its construction date listed in the column where the Case Study number belongs (could it be the missing No. 14?). Does this confusion date to the '40s when the houses were commissioned, or is this mess original to Wikipedia? If the former, it would helpful to provide some explanation, if known. If not, then some acknowledgement that the confusion is longstanding might be in order. ~~Joey Harrison — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joeyharrison (talk • contribs) 14:41, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
