Very large bull shark caught at Carter Plantation in late 1800's or early 1900's
[edit]There is (or at least used to be) an old photo of a very large bull shark, caught in Blood River at Carter Plantation, hanging on the wall at the Springfield, Louisiana branch of Whitney Bank. The photo was taken in front of the old General Store, which still stands across the street from the bank, with 10-12 people in period dress standing behind the shark to show its length. I can't remember the length stated in the caption, but I'm guessing it was up to 14 feet long. I have tried many times to find this picture on the web, but to no avail. Assuming someone has bothered to scan the photo and put it online, how can I find it?
