Cornell Red not an alternative name
[edit]The color carnelian has a range of shades, but Cornell Red is very strictly defined as one exact shade. Cornell Red is therefore not an alternative name for carnelian. (If it was, then Cornell would have to accept every possible shade of carnelian as an equally accurate representation of its school colors.) TooManyFingers (talk) 15:41, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
