Huge mistake

[edit]

How did we forget Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed, the first Chief Advisor of the first Caretaker government of Bangladesh? Aditya(talkcontribs) 13:54, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article does not have any value, it is a part of a situation. So it is better to be deleted. --Anwarul Islam (talk) 04:55, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The History of Bangladesh Caretaker system of Government is very short and does not indicate the backgrounds. I prefer the incidents of malpractices in two By-Elections during the time should have been included. by Mohsin: 18:25hrs; 01 April, 2011 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.49.24.135 (talk) 12:23, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@182.48.77.57 @Family27390 @Wiki N Islam, i see some edits after the establishment 2024 Bangladesh Interim Government. I see that you guys are mixing up the interim government with the now-discontinued Caretake Government. It's important to know that although they seem similar, they are not the same entity. Uss157 (talk) 18:05, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Brother, I'm clearing the confusions actually. Wiki N Islam (talk) 18:51, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Mehedi Abedin, @Bruno pnm ars, @Zeeshan Y Tariq, @Wiki N Islam, @মোহাম্মদ জনি হোসেন there have been a mixing up between the caretaker government and interim government in this article. Should we consider the interim as a part of the caretaker govt? Uss157 (talk) 16:01, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, because–
  1. Caretaker government system was abolished in 2011. This government shouldn't be treated as a caretaker government as it is extra-constitutional.
  2. Caretaker government was periodical, which always took position after a parliament was dissolved. But this interim government isn't. At least now, their is not certainty of keeping the government for 13th Jatiya Sangsad election.
But functions of two types of governments are same. Wiki N Islam (talk) 16:35, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Wiki N Islam Yes, Caretaker and Interim Government is slightly different. BangladeshiEditorInSylhet (talk) 15:00, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
