History of the term

I've done a bit of digging on the history of the term, but the most I can find so far is this trademark application for the term "cardinal gem". That's too close to WP:OR for my liking though. –MJL ‐Talk‐^☖ 16:52, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
