[edit]I'm afraid Canford heath is not the largest heath in Dorset, let alone the UK! This is misleading and should be ammended. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.250.169.17 (talk) 16:22, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
This article needs to be re-thought as it doesn't clearly depicte the postion of Canford Heath in relation to the town of Poole of which its part and location within the town. Canford Heath is not that near to Sandbanks and this article is written in a misleading way even low the they are both in the same town.
Note I come from Poole and know it well having lived and worked here all my life (41 years). Paulw99 22:31, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
When looking back at this article prior to rewriting it I have noted that there is only reference to one Church, there are in fact three. Canford Heath Baptist Church and St. Paul's Anglican Church share the same premises with the Baptists have their service after that of St. Pauls'. I think this needs a total rewrite unlike I thought of at first. Paulw99 19:42, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
I think that u shud say more about the heath cuz thats kinda a big part of canford heath and i live ther so i shud know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oinkleworkorelse (talk • contribs) 17:25, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Improving
[edit]I'm drafting some improvements at Draft:Canford Heath, with intent to merge it with this article when done. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to look at old newspapers at some point. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:32, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Ward
[edit]I see Canford Heath (ward) has been redirected to this page without a discussion. The same happened at Penn Hill but I have reverted. What do others think? Moondragon21 (talk) 11:22, 10 November (UTC)
- There is no need to have this discussion on every ward article. Per WP:CFORK, we do not create needless forks for the same place, and there is no exception to this rule for electoral wards -- as the recent AfD for Station ward in Boston reiterated. This is especially true for the Penn Hill article, which is even more of a clear cut WP:REDUNDANTFORK as both articles clearly state that they are the same place, and there is no information in either article which couldn't equally apply to the other article.
