A fact from Candia massacre appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 10 March 2018 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that two months after the Candia massacre, the last Ottoman soldiers left Crete, ending 253 years of Ottoman rule?
5 of the 6 sources used in the article are Greek sources, with the other one being English and not a single Turkish source regarding what took place. Neutrality dispute rag had been placed until 3rd party sources are added. 176.55.7.68 (talk) 20:25, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I fail to see anything related to wp:POV here. In general the country of origin of the source/author doesn't turn it as unreliable. However, everything is based on English sources published by top graded publishing houses.Alexikoua (talk) 06:22, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
